New info kit for Rainbow Families

Are you a same-sex couple or single person thinking about having children? Has a friend asked if you would be their sperm donor, egg donor or surrogate?

 

On 1 January 2010 the Victorian Assisted Reproductive Treatment Act came into effect. A raft of federal changes were also enacted in 2008–2009. Between them, these reforms rainbow families law kitsignificantly improved the rights of children in rainbow families and options for same-sex and single prospective parents.

This kit is a guide to the current laws most relevant to same-sex parented families, prospective parents, donors and surrogates.
